Owned and operated by Woody Kumpula and Teri Manning, Lost Lake Ranch (LLR) is situated 2.5 hours NE of Edmonton, in the small hamlet of Rich Lake. With a mutual drive to produce quality animals they have built a herd of 90 registered cows, as well as a commercial Hereford herd. Lost Lake Ranch currently sells bulls by private treaty at the ranch, to both commercial and purebred cattlemen.

Placed second to the eventual Grand Champion of the Western National Hereford Show at Farmfair 2011.  


BULL OF THE PRAIRIES
We received the "Bull of the Prairies Award" from the Hereford Genes Event, put on by the Alberta Hereford Association. A draw was made from entries by Commercial cattlemen for them to win the bull of their choice, from twenty-six hereford bulls entered in the event. Our bull was chosen by Jim & Judy Hide of Westlock. Pictured is Teri and Woody being awarded the banner for "Bull of the Prairies" and receiving a cheque for $8,000 for having our bull chosen.
